RVRC Hit the Horse & Hound

I hope you all read page 6 of H & H 26th June 08.  Lesley and I were interviewed by H & H as a result of an enquiry by Tamara Strapp.

We need as many as possible to write to the letters page of H & H NOW.  If you have something to say about the BRC flu cert rules please, please take the time to send something in.  We need to keep up the anti!  We are currently trying to get articles in Local Rider and Horse Magazine together with the BRC Rider Magazine.  Please help us.

Flu Vaccination Update

Phonominal support has been received from many clubs around the country.  Please continue to lobby your own members to complete the Appendix 6 form and send to BRC or to Lesley Reed.  Please keep details of who has sent them if you can so we can prove that Laurie Punnetts comment in H & H stating that he has only received a few forms is rubbish - we have submitted 130 ourselves!

Please feel free to contact me or Lesley by telephone or email and give us your comments - pro or against.

Bull Farm/RVRC Hunter Trial in May.

We have so far given the hospice in the weald £2000 and will add to this after the party on the Saturday 23rd august, when a presentation photo will be taken. Thank you all for your support which has helped raise this sum. it is going towards the new day care centre at the Hospice.

Helpers Vouchers

After you have helped at the required event and had your ‘helpers deposit’ returned to you, you may like to help at any of the other events for which you will be given a ‘Helpers Voucher’.

In the past these could be exchanged for Rother Valley entries, clinics etc. This year we have extended there use and they can now be exchanged at:

All The Gear with Jo Crouch

The Tack Room at Johns Cross

Windmill Feeds at Heathfield

Charity Farm Shop at Cranbrook

aswell as all Rother Valley events/clinics.

However, they are only valid from one year from issue date and only vouchers issued this year can be used for any of the above shops. Do not try and exchange last years vouchers. The new ones are a rather attractive lilac colour.
