Rules and Conditions Of Show Entry

1. The decision of the judge is final. Objections may be lodged with the Secretary within thirty minutes of the event accompanied by a deposit of £10, forfeited if overruled.

2. The Event organisers reserve the right to cancel, divide, or combine classes, and to substitute judges should the need arise.

3. Hard hats (BSI standard 4427, 6473 EN1384 or PAS015) must be warn at all times whilst mounted. BSI standard body protectors must be worn for cross country events.

4. In the event of cancellation, £2 of the entry fee will be retained.

5. Disclaimer of liability - Save the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies accepts any liability whatsoever while upon the showground or while entering or leaving the same, for any death, injury, or loss or damage to any competitor or his or her agent or to any animal, article, plant, machinery, or thing brought to the showground or whilst entering or leaving or being carried into of out of said showground. Each competitor shall be responsible for any loss, injury or damage that may be doneto or occaisioned by, or arrising from any animal, article or property, exhibited or brought into the showground by him and shall indemnify and hold harmless the Rother Valley Riding Club from and against all actions, suits expenses, and claims on account or in respect of any such damage or injury which may be caused or occasioned.

6. Health and Safety - Rother Valley Riding Club, the organisers of the events have taken responsible precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all resonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents and must obey the instructions of the organisers and all officials and stewards.

7. All dogs must be kept on a lead.

8. No horse or pony shall compete under the age of four in ridden classes.

9. Excessive use of whips/spurs is forbidden, neither are permitted in gymkhana events.

10. No telephone entries are accepted.

11. No entry will be accepted without the correct remittance unless a veterinary or medical certificate is produced.

12. All times on Schedules are approximate and no responsibility can be accepted in the case of classes starting earlier or later.

13. Please do not muck out on the showgrounds. Please take all litter home with you.

14. No Galloping Allowed on any showground.

15. Your signature on any entry form shall be deemed as an acceptance of the above rules.

16. No horse or pony shall be left tied to a trailer unattended.
